Warriewood Brook (MacPherson St, Warriewood) is a brand-new facility for residential aged care. ARV’s facilities are designed with 50 years of experience in aged care to provide the best possible environment for residents to live and staff to work. ARV is currently seeking to appoint a Care Manager to join its committed team.
This role will be responsible for managing the operational care activities & issues of the facility, including:
• Oversight & enforcement of resident and health care standards;
• Management, recruitment and education of care staff;
• Efficient management of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) funding process including resident care plans, ACFI returns and on-going documentation;
• Working with the Facility Manager in an environment of continuous quality improvement to meet the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
The successful applicant will have:
• Current NSW Registration as an RN, List A.
• A proven track record in managing and leading staff in a facility;
• Commitment to the Christian values and beliefs of the organisation.
This position will ideally suit an experienced registered nurse who is looking to extend themselves beyond the traditional clinical areas, with an emphasis on delivering holistic care.
